This book reports research findings on several interesting topics in waste disposal including geophysical methods in site studies, municipal solid waste disposal site investigation, integrated study of contamination flow path at a waste disposal site, nuclear waste disposal, case studies of disposal of municipal wastes in different environments and locations, and emissions related to waste disposal.

El 2001, feia cinquanta anys que Jordi Pere Cerdà (Premi d’Honor de les Lletres Catalanes1995) entrava en literatura amb «La guatila i la garba ».És un col·loqui científic que li fou ofert com a prova d’homenatge, just en aquella terra de Cerdanya «entremig de totes les terres» que nodreix la seva obra d‘imatges, de saba dialectal, de memòria col·lectiva, però també de qüestionaments sobre el que ell anomena el «trencat» i el «cosit»: la ferida i el lligam - sobre la frontera - totes les fronteres. Trenta cinc escriptors, investigadors, universitaris catalans, francesos i occitans varen reunir-se per parlar de Jordi Pere Cerdà i analitzar una obra major de la nostra literatura contemporània. Un home i una obra que són l’expressió mateixa de la problemàtica que planteja la catalanitat al País del Nord.

This article shows that particle verbs in Burgenland Croatian – a notable morphosyntactic phenomenon of language contact – may form aspectual pairs in a typically Slavic manner. Particle-based pairs with an indigenous base verb are formed by means of suffixation, suffix opposition, suppletion or prefixation. In the case of spatial relations, by contrast, preverbs predominate over prefixes, leading to a reduction of the old inventory of verbal compounds. Nevertheless, preverbs are only rarely obligatory in the formation of aspectual pairs. In the case of borrowings, only prefixation is productive, which might be attributed to German (and Hungarian) influence. On a par with other aspectual pairs, particle-based formations may express taxis relations (sequence, simultaneity, incidence). Language contact possibly contributed to the preservation of the Contextually Conditioned Imperfective Past also in imperfective particle verbs.

This volume brings together 474 letters that Luciano Anceschi and Oreste Macrí wrote each other for 50 years. The strong point of the deep (and maybe unexpected) friendship between the two critics – based on the shared and fierce activism, on the common outlook of an «uncompromising humanism» – is curiously a dialectical progression that almost always excludes the perspective of a total agreement. It is a dialogue that springs from differences, and that exhorts to think about them. After the Second World War, the protagonists of the correspondence started to relaxedly discuss about the present and future of the European cultural civilization, the meaning of a literature that seems to illustrate a permanent state of crisis, and the events that gave life to the literary debate until the threshold of the new millennium, between post-hermetic tendencies and new experimentalisms.

Comme le raconte le premier texte de ce volume, un vaste ensemble de manuscrits de Raymond Roussel – totalement inconnu – surgissait en 1989. C’est dans le remous provoqué par cette découverte que s’est tenu à Cerisy du 10 au 20 août 1991 le colloque : “Raymond Roussel, perversion classique ou invention moderne ?” Les différents travaux que rassemble ce volume représentent ainsi une étape importante de la réflexion sur l’auteur des Impressions d’Afrique et de Locus Solus. C’est aussi un état des multiples orientations de la recherche roussellienne ; histoire littéraire, herméneutique, toutes ces approches singulières témoignent de la disponibilité du texte roussellien. Elles proposent au lecteur de saisir, sur le vif, l’une des aventures littéraires et critiques les plus passionnantes de ce vingtième siècle, autour d’un écrivain capital qui avant de mourir souhaita “un peu d’épanouissement posthume à l’endroit de [ses] livres”.

Sowohl in landwirtschaftlichen als auch in abfallwirtschaftlichen Co-Vergärungsanlagen wird Biogas zur Strom- und Wärmeerzeugung energetisch genutzt. In dieser Arbeit werden, aufbauend auf einer Stoff- und Energiestrommodellierung, verschiedene Anlagentypen zur Co-Vergärung ökologisch und ökonomisch bewertet. Mit einem gemischt-ganzzahligen linearen Planungsmodell werden exemplarisch für die Region Heilbronn optimale Standorte hinsichtlich ökologischer und ökonomischer Zielkriterien bestimmt.

The handbook is one of the main outputs of the Erasmus+ COSERE project. The aim of the collective work of authors from five countries is to discuss the possibilities of promoting cooperation and a culture of collegiality in schools. The handbook serves as a basis for the construction of an online educational course for teachers, school principals and school policy makers. It first presents the school contexts of individual countries and then pays attention to organizational learning, forms of cooperation in schools, limits and the promotion of a culture of collegiality in schools. The last part is then devoted to the results of a qualitative survey, which summarizes experiences with the reality and promotion of collegiality in individual school contexts.

"From Catullus to Horace, the tradition of Latin erotic poetry produced works of literature which are still read throughout the world. Ovid’s Amores, written in the first century BC, is arguably the best-known and most popular collection in this tradition. This book contain embedded audio files of the original text read aloud by Aleksandra Szypowska. Born in 43 BC, Ovid was educated in Rome in preparation for a career in public services before finding his calling as a poet. He may have begun writing his Amores as early as 25 BC. Although influenced by poets such as Catullus, Ovid demonstrates a much greater awareness of the funny side of love than any of his predecessors. The Amores is a collection of romantic poems centered on the poet’s own complicated love life: he is involved with a woman, Corinna, who is sometimes unobtainable, sometimes compliant, and often difficult and domineering. In AD 8, Ovid was exiled by Augustus to Romania, for reasons that remain obscure. He died there in AD 17. The Amores were originally published in five books, but reissued around 1 AD in their current three-book form. Daí surgem novos métodos e técnicas que se agregam ao acervo funcional da área. Ao apresentar questões conceituais e metodológicas e suas aplicações na análise e interpretação de problemas específicos da saúde, este livro torna-se uma pioneira e valiosa contribuição em português a um novo campo que se abre: o do geoprocessamento aplicado à saúde.

L’Organisation internationale du travail est née du traité de Versailles en 1919, a survécu à la Société des nations et a trouvé sa place au sein de l’Organisation des Nations unies, où elle a apporté l’héritage et le savoir-faire du premier internationalisme, et la spécificité du tripartisme. L’OIT a formulé et poursuivi des idéaux de réforme sociale, fondés notamment sur la production de savoirs et d’expertise, dans un siècle traversé par des conflits majeurs, les décolonisations et l’évolution des rapports de force, entre les mondes capitalistes et communistes, entre les États et entreprises du Nord et du Sud.Cet ouvrage fait suite à un colloque qui a rassemblé acteurs sociaux et chercheurs pour célébrer les cent ans de l’Organisation internationale du travail et interroger son rôle face à la mondialisation des économies et du travail. The article presents the restrictions related to the conduct of combat operations by the vessels of the Navy River Fleet in Pinsk. It provides discussion of issues such as war doctrine of the Second Polish Republic and river fleets, geographical characteristics of Polesie, possibilities of conducting activities by the Pinsk Fleet in the assessment of commanders and superiors, as well as technical parameters of vessels and the resulting restrictions.
