Systemtheoretisches Denken hat Konjunktur. Besonders prominent ist die Verknüpfung von Selbstorganisations- und systemtheoretischen Sichtweisen. Resultat sind Theorien dynamischer Systeme; durch sie erfuhr das systemtheoretische Paradigma in den letzten zehn bis fünfzehn Jahren grundlegende Erneuerung und Verbreitung - und das ganz besonders dort, wo sich die Suchscheinwerfer auf den Menschen richten: es darum geht, unsere Erfahrung, unser Denken und Fühlen, unser Selbst-Sein und In-der-Welt-Sein wissenschaftlich in den Blick zu bekommen. Konkret schlägt sich diese Entwicklung beispielsweise nieder in einer generellen, transdisziplinären, vielgestaltigen Forschungsausrichtung unter dem Obertitel "Embodiment", wobei es im Grundsatz um die Körper- und Weltverankerung unserer Erfahrung geht. Diesen paradigmatischen Entwicklungen geht die Studie nach, zum einen als Wissenschaftsgeschichte, und zum anderen interessieren sie besonders die Möglichkeiten der Philosophie - des philosophischen Beitrags, als Analyse, Kritik und Konstruktion.

The Littérure Française in Contexte. Rassources Pour Le Bachibac is a book coordinated by Mª Gloria Ríos Guardiola and written by Encarnación Belmonte Millán, Mª Mercedes Eurrutia Cavero, Pedro Salvador Méndez Robles, Elena Meseguer Padños, Josefa Muñoz Cabrera, Mª Gloria Ríos Guardiola, José Luis Sanchis Gosálve and Mª ÁngelesSolano Rodriguez. The resources that we will find in this book have been prepared priority for students of French Foreign Language within the framework of the Bachibac Teaching Program although they can be used in other teaching/learning contexts of literature in the French language. Therefore, the main objective of this publication is to respond to the demand of teachers and students involved in these studies, offering them a literary panorama adapted to content included in the corresponding program curriculum. These contents have been chronologically organized from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. The structure of the different parties responds to the will to offer an overview of the socio -historical and cultural context that allows the student to understand the relationships and circumstances that condition the authors at the time of composing their works.Before focusing on each of the selected works, an approach to its author is presented in order to facilitate the understanding of these. When selecting the texts, both their notoriety and the profile of the recipients have been taken into account. This study program concludes with a test that students must overcome to obtain the Bachibac degree and, according to this, the last part of the resources has been designed: the selection of fragments of the works that appear in the program, as wellas the presentation of possible questions and writing issues according to the stipulated model for the literary exercise of one of the tests of this double diploma. This volume brings together contributions on the background to the Russian attack on Ukraine from a (socio-)linguistic, linguistic and literary-historical and political perspective. The emphasis is not on day-to-day political events, but on facts and contexts that have received little attention to date. This reveals gaps in knowledge, misinterpretations and distortions that are deeply rooted not least in Western societies. Here, recognized experts bring together a wealth of background knowledge on the historical and current contexts of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. In doing so, they help to reduce information deficits and correct misconceptions about the Eastern Slavic linguistic and cultural area.

Acute bronchitis in childhood is one of the most common respiratory diseases. The disease affects all childhood age periods, being more severe in younger and premature children. It can be a reason for the development of respiratory failure and chronic lung pathology. Despite advances in microbiological and virological diagnostics and therapy, the disease continues to be a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge.The book describes the main etiological factors of acute and chronic bronchitis in childhood, the differences in the clinical symptoms and age characteristics in children. An important place is devoted to new therapeutic practices and preventive solutions.

Ce livre est une initiation à la syntaxe générative chomskyenne spécialement conçu pour les linguistes et apprentis-linguistes formés dans la tradition grammaticale francophone. Le thème de l’anaphore fournit un excellent prétexte pour une tentative de vulgarisation puisque, déjà familier aux spécialistes d’énonciation, de sémantique et de pragmatique, il est aussi l’un des principaux centres d’intérêt de la syntaxe générative, qui leur consacre un module spécifique de son programme de recherche : la théorie du liage. Les sept premiers chapitres conduisent à la formulation standard de la théorie du liage. Le chapitre 8 retrace à grands traits l’histoire des hypothèses génératives concernant la structure en constituants, dont la théorie du liage est crucialement solidaire. Le chapitre 9 passe en revue un certain nombre de problèmes mis à jour depuis la version standard de la théorie. Chacun des chapitres 1 à 8 est suivi d’exercices corrigés qui récapitulent les dernières hypothèses introduites et annoncent les suivantes. This book make sense of the scores of research studies on the minimum wage that began in the early 1990s. The authors look at who is affected by the minimum wage, both directly and indirectly; which observable, measurable variables (e.g., wages, employment, school enrollment) the minimum wage influences; how long it takes for the variables to respond to the minimum wage and the size and desirability of the effect; why the minimum wage has the results it does (and not others); and the workers most likely to be affected by changes to the minimum wage.

Esta obra, constituída de 11 capítulos, apresenta a experiência do Programa Residência Pedagógica (PRP) da Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul, aprovado no Edital 1/CAPES/2020. O programa conta com oito subprojetos: quatro de áreas prioritárias – Alfabetização; Biologia, Física e Química; Língua Portuguesa; Matemática – e quatro de áreas gerais – Língua Espanhola; Licenciatura em Educação do Campo; Geografia; História, Sociologia e Filosofia. Foram 18 núcleos, vinculados aos cursos de licenciatura de cinco campi da UFFS: Cerro Largo e Erechim, no Rio Grande do Sul; Chapecó, em Santa Catarina; Laranjeiras do Sul e Realeza, no Paraná. No total, o PRP da UFFS teve, inicialmente, 336 residentes bolsistas e 80 alunos voluntários, 42 preceptores da Educação Básica, 14 professores orientadores bolsistas, 11 professores voluntários e um coordenador institucional.

The research project presented in the monograph ‘Psychosocial Aspects of Life and Work in the Context of Intergenerational Differences and Organisational Policy’ has been realised basically in order to recognise differences among three generations of adult workers, with consideration given to the dimension of organisational practices as well. The theoretical part contains a detailed characteristics of the stages of adulthood (the early, middle, and late) and different generations at the labour market (the generation of traditionalists, baby boomers, generations X, Y, and C). The following chapters have been devoted to the issues of age management, life satisfaction, job satisfaction, organisational commitment, preferred job-related values, stress at work, and conflicts between roles. In the empirical part, there are formulated two basic particular goals. Firstly, an attempt has been made to observe generational differentiation within individual experiences in the area of life satisfaction, job satisfaction, organisational commitment, work values, work-family and family-work conflicts and stress at work among representatives of the three stages of adulthood (early, middle, and late adulthood). Another assumption dealt with describing mutual relations between varied aspects of age policy in an organisation and experiences of the study participants within the enumerated categories. A separate task was to consider the variable of organisational climate and its role in the utilised solutions regarding age management in an organisation. In the examined population (n=757) there have been observed intergenerational differences in the areas of organisational commitment, work values, work-family conflict and stress at work. Another general conclusion that is drawn from the studies under presentation indicates a significant role of age management for personal experiences. Moreover, some significant positive relations between organisational climate and varied aspects of age policy in an organisation have been evidenced. It was simultaneously observed that the type of organisational climate differentiated significantly the intensity of solutions used within age policy in an organisation. Moreover, the obtained solutions have allowed for forming some suggestions to be applied in future empirical proceedings and also some practical implications regarding contemporary organisational reality.

Potosí (today Bolivia) was the major supplier for the Spanish Empire and for the world and still today boasts the world's single-richest silver deposit. This book explores the political economy of silver production and circulation illuminating a vital chapter in the history of global capitalism. It travels through geology, sacred spaces, and technical knowledge in the first section; environmental history and labor in the second section; silver flows, the heterogeneous world of mining producers, and their agency in the third; and some of the local, regional, and global impacts of Potosí mining in the fourth section. The main focus is on the establishment of a complex infrastructure at the site, its major changes over time, and the new human and environmental landscape that emerged for the production of one of the world´s major commodities: silver. Eleven authors from different countries present their most recent research based on years of archival research, providing the readers with cutting-edge scholarship. This timely collection brings together philosophical, legal and sociological perspectives on the crucial question of who should make decisions about the fate of a child suffering from a serious illness. In particular, the collection looks at whether the current 'best interests' threshold is the appropriate boundary for legal intervention, or whether it would be more appropriate to adopt the 'risk of significant harm' approach proposed in Gard. It explores the roles of parents, doctors and the courts in making decisions on behalf of children, actively drawing on perspectives from the clinic as well as academia and practice. In doing so, it teases out the potential risks of inappropriate state intrusion in parental decision-making, and considers how we might address them.

This book presents collective works published in the recent Special Issue (SI) entitled "Aero/Hydrodynamics and Symmetry". These works address the existence of symmetry and its breakdown in aero-/hydro-dynamics and their related applications. The presented problems are complex nonlinear, non-Newtonian fluid flow problems that are (in some cases) coupled with heat transfer, phase change, nanofluidic, and magnetohydrodynamics phenomena. The applications vary and range from polymer chain transfer in micro-channel to the evaluation of vertical axis wind turbines, as well as autonomous underwater hovering vehicles. Recent advances in numerical, theoretical, and experimental methodologies, as well as finding new physics, new methodological developments, and their limitations are presented within the scope of the current book. Among others, in the presented works, special attention is paid to validation and improving the accuracy of the presented methodologies. This book brings together a collection of inter-/multi-disciplinary works applied to many engineering applications in a coherent manner.
