The article presents the importance of a person's psychological safety in the process offorming a safe environment. The problem of psychological safety in complex and dangerous conditions for lifeand work implies the use of such psychological methods and techniques that will ensure psychologicalprotection, stability and improvement of the quality of life in the above-mentioned conditions.Referring to the psychological safety of a person, the article puts forward the assumption that the moreharmoniously the components of a person interact with each other, the more harmoniously the person feels andthe more the psychological safety of a person is ensured. The problem of psychological safety of the individualis studied in various fields of science: professional activity, public security, personality psychology, familypsychology, etc. In complex and dangerous conditions for life and work, the problem of psychological safetyinvolves the use of such psychological methods and techniques that will ensure psychological protection, stabilityand improvement of the quality of life in the above-mentioned conditions.The relevance of the topic is due to the sharp increase in emotional tension in the public environment,which occurs due to the rapid change in geopolitical, socio-economic, universal, national and personal values.Almost all spheres of human activity are involved in this process: labor, educational, health care, family.Challenges follow one another at such a speed that sometimes it is almost impossible to adapt to thesechanges.
