Some of the most beautiful studies in Mathematics are related to Symmetry and Geometry. For this reason, we select here some contributions about such aspects and Discrete Geometry. As we know, Symmetry in a system means invariance of its elements under conditions of transformations. When we consider network structures, symmetry means invariance of adjacency of nodes under the permutations of node set. The graph isomorphism is an equivalence relation on the set of graphs. Therefore, it partitions the class of all graphs into equivalence classes. The underlying idea of isomorphism is that some objects have the same structure if we omit the individual character of their components. A set of graphs isomorphic to each other is denominated as an isomorphism class of graphs. The automorphism of a graph will be an isomorphism from G onto itself. The family of all automorphisms of a graph G is a permutation group.

Worldwide, there is a high prevalence of mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. Mental health problems can affect all people regardless of their sociodemographic characteristics. This means that anyone is likely to have some form of mental health problem. The effects of mental health problems can be so devastating that they lead to suicide in many cases. For this reason, preventive measures to avoid mental health problems are important. Among the strategies used for the prevention and treatment of mental health problems, the practice of physical activity, good levels of physical fitness, quality leisure time, socialization (especially in older adults), the use of counseling whenever there is a change in mental health, religiosity and contemplation of the divine, psychological support, and professional guidance stand out. This book presents different strategies that can be used to promote good mental health.

New advances and research in plant reproductive ecology continue to provide key insights into common and rare plant species. Similarly, the emerging technologies, techniques, and tools in data collection and analyses continue to advance the fields of plant conservation biology and plant reproductive ecology, allowing for discoveries and interpretations that were not feasible at the beginning of the century. Additionally, climate change and ecosystem loss have only continued to accelerate during the 21st century, resulting in a more pressing need to holistically understand the biology of rare plants. For this Special Issue of Plants, we have included papers that cover a wide variety of perspectives in population genetics, ecology, pollination biology, mutualist and antagonistic interactions, seed ecology, systematics, modeling, etc., toward advancing the fields of reproductive ecology and the conservation of plants. The studies focus on single species or multiple species that include broader implications within the subject matter of the Special Issue. In addition, this Special Issue sought out different research viewpoints and perspectives within and outside academia and captured a global perspective of plant reproductive ecology and conservation biology. Collectively, these studies provide a diverse perspective on the fields at present and help to point a direction forward for conservation biology.

Nanoparticle is a general challenge for today's technology and the near future observations of science. Nanoparticles cover mostly all types of sciences and manufacturing technologies. The properties of this particle are flying over today scientific barriers and have passed the limitations of conventional sciences. This is the reason why nanoparticles have been evaluated for the use in many fields. InTech publisher and the contributing authors of this book in nanoparticles are all overconfident to invite all scientists to read this new book. The book's potential was held until it was approached by the art of exploring the most advanced research in the field of nano-scale particles, preparation techniques and the way of reaching their destination. 25 reputable chapters were framed in this book and there were alienated into four altered sections; Toxic Nanoparticles, Drug Nanoparticles, Biological Activities and Nano-Technology.

Rivers have been intensively degraded due to increasing anthropogenic impacts from a growing population in a continuously developing world. Accordingly, most rivers suffer from pressures as a result of increasing dam and weir construction, habitat degradation, flow regulation, water pollution/abstraction, and the spread of invasive species. Science-based knowledge regarding solutions to counteract the effects of river degradation, and melding principles of aquatic ecology and engineering hydraulics, is thus urgently needed to guide present and future river restoration actions. This Special Issue gathers a coherent set of studies from different geographic contexts, on fundamental and applied research regarding the integration of ecohydraulics in river restoration, ranging from field studies to laboratory experiments that can be applied to real-world challenges. It contains 13 original papers covering ecohydraulic issues such as river restoration technologies, sustainable hydropower, fish passage designs and operational criteria, and habitat modeling. All papers were reviewed by international experts in ecology, hydraulics, aquatic biology, engineering, geomorphology, and hydrology. The papers herein well represent the wide applicability of ecohydraulics in river restoration and serve as a basis to improve current knowledge and management and to reduce arguments between different interests and opinions.

»Building Institution« chronicles the expansion of architecture as a profession and discipline in the postmodern era. Kim Förster traces the compelling history of the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies, which was active in New York from 1967 to 1985. Drawing on extensive archival research and oral histories, he constructs a collective biography that details the Institute's diverse roles and the dynamic interplay between research and design, education, culture, and publishing. By exploring the transformation of cultural production into a practice as well as the culturalization and global postmodernization of architecture, the volume contributes significantly to the institutional history of architecture.
