The objective of the Health Emergency Preparedness Response and Resilience Project is to strengthen health system resilience and multisectoral preparedness and response to health emergencies in the Republic of Rwanda. The AF consists of a 10.0 million dollar grant from the Global Financing Facility (GFF) and a 1.10 million dollar grant from the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Multi-Donor Trust Fund (HEPR‑MDTF). The restructuring responds to the Government of Rwanda’s request (Ref: 1169/10/2025‑2026/MIN, dated February 5, 2026) to reprogram project funds and includes: (a) reallocating funds across components to newly prioritized activities that remain aligned with the Project Development Objective (PDO); (b) extending the project closing date by six months from March 31, 2030 to September 30, 2030; and (c) revising the project Results Framework (RF) to better align with the MPA‑level RF and reflect the prioritization of selected activities.
