Enhancing PDOP for indoor localisation by considering the effects of multipaths with virtual beacons
Overview & Synopsis
The challenge addressed in this paper is to develop a method for optimizing beacon placement in indoor environments to minimize PDOP by effectively utilizing multipaths signals. Traditional approaches often neglect the potential benefits of multipath, focusing instead on mitigating their effects. Our approach aims to integrate these multipath signals into the positioning algorithm to enhance the overall accuracy.
