On two-piece chi-square and f-type distributions
Overview & Synopsis
In this paper two-piece normal (TPN) distribution is considered. From this, first, distribution of the ratio of two independent TPN variables is obtained. Next, two-piece chi-square and F-type distributions are derived. As an extension, two-piece generalized inverted Dirichlet-type distribution is also obtained. From these distributions, several types of tests regarding parameters can be carried out.
