Overview & Synopsis

This compilation brings together the reflections and contributions presented at the Sixth Research Colloquium of the Colombian Network of Doctoral Programs in Education and Related Fields, Recode Antioquia–Eje Cafetero Region Chapter, entitled Exploring the Foundations of Doctoral Research in Education in a World of Risk and Uncertainty. At this gathering, researchers from diverse disciplines and contexts outlined a shared horizon that resonates throughout these pages: the need to rethink education as an ethical, context-sensitive, and profoundly transformative endeavor. Across eighteen chapters, the volume presents a critical cartography that interrogates educational practices, brings their tensions to light, and proposes pedagogical and didactic pathways toward an education that is more equitable, creative, and responsive to the challenges of the present.
