நெடுநல்வாடையில் கலை நுணுக்கம்
Overview & Synopsis
There is much evidence that Tamil architecture, sculpture, painting, music, drama and the arts of singing were excellent in the Sangam period. “Nedunalvadai” is one of the poignant books from “Patthuppattu” written by Nakkhirarar. The poet sings jubliantly about the brave Tamil king Thalayananganathu Seruvendra Pandya Nedunchezhiyan in this book. “Nedunalvadai” is also known as Sirpappattu and was a long poem for the wife and a good poem for the poet. The purpose of this chapter paper is to poetically examine the artistic techniques employed by Nakkhirarar who poetically wrote down the artistic techniques of astronomy, architecture, sculpture, painting, etc. in this work.
