Caractérisation du dipôle lacune-calcium par relaxations électrique et mécanique dans des mononcristaux de zircones calciées
Overview & Synopsis
Complex impedance measurements have been performed on calcia doped zirconia single crystals for three different dopant concentrations. A maximum of the dielectric loss is observed at a frequency which is thermally activated. The activation energy is slightly lower than the one derived from the study of the dc electrical conductivity with temperature. The experimental results depend very little on composition. Resonant method experiments have been used to measure internal friction and Young's modulus for different orientations [100], [110] and [111] in he case of one composition. The study with temperature confirms that [111] is the preferential orientation of the vacancy-calcium dipole.
