Multi-Width Selective Emitter Design for High-Performance Low-Bandgap Thermophotovoltaics
Overview & Synopsis
In this study, we design a 2D wavelength-selective emitter for low-bandgap thermophotovoltaic systems using Rigorous Coupled-Wave Analysis (RCWA) and Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO). A hybrid structure with four widths synergizes magnetic and plasmonic resonances, minimizing sub-bandgap and thermalization losses, enhancing TPV performance.
