Overview & Synopsis

My HDR thesis presents a synthesis of my research activity conducted at the CECI laboratory (CERFACS and CNRS). The thesis covers research, development, and supervision activities. The scientific section addresses applied mathematics methods to improve the modeling of fluid components of the Earth system, within the context of environmental risk studies. This section is structured into three chapters: uncertainty quantification, uncertainty reduction through data assimilation methods, and coupling. I have chosen to focus the research chapters on applied mathematics methods in fluvial hydraulics, which represents the core of my current activity. The defense will take place on April 4th at CERFACS at 2:30 PM and will present a summary of my research activities.
