Bounds for the trace of small Salem numbers
Overview & Synopsis
In this work, we give a lower bound and an upper bound for the trace of a Salem number whose Mahler measure is less than 1.3. We use the method of explicit auxiliary functions combined with the recursive algorithm developed in [F3].
