TUBOHA : A spatial hamiltonian approach for traveling wave tube amplifiers
Overview & Synopsis
Here is TUBOHA, a spatial hamiltonian formulation to model electron and radio-frequency dynamics in traveling-wave tubes (TWTs). By imposing a symplectic structure in frequency domain, this approach enhances numerical stability and preserves system key invariants. It accurately captures momentum and energy exchange during wave-beam interaction and is validated against experimental data and the MVTRAD model.
