Overview & Synopsis

School leading plays a crucial role in shaping the school community's overall performance and growth. Specifically, it sought to answer the level of school leading practices in terms of strategic leading, focus on teaching and learning, and building connections. Furthermore, it also wanted to check if there is a significant relationship between the leading practices and teachers’ career growth as well as on identifying the dimensions of the independent variable that influence teachers’ career growth. An adapted questionnaire was used to collect data from the 101 teacher-respondents from Division of Bukidnon selected through stratified random sampling. Mean and Standard Deviation, Spearman Rho and Linear Regression methods were the statistical tools used in the study. The study found that school leading practices are very highly practiced. Teachers’ career growth is very highly effective. There is a moderate to strongest correlation between school leading practices and teachers’ career growth. Building connections and strategic leading are positive predictors of teachers’ career growth. This concludes that teachers effectively handled their responsibilities due to strong leadership, felt capable of mentoring learners, and perceived leadership practices as directly linked to career advancement. The recommendations include school leaders to maintain strong practices, teachers to continue their career growth and school system to improve leadership initiatives, partnership and strategic planning.
