The development objective of Digital Transformation Acceleration Program are to accelerate deployment and adoption of user-centric public digital services, and to improve private sector digitization, competitiveness and job creation in Morocco.The Program-for-Results (PforR) supports the Government of Morocco’s Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, focusing on accelerating user-centric digital transformation across the public and private sectors while strengthening institutional capacity. The Program is structured around two mutually reinforcing results areas aligned with the strategy’s core axes. Results Area 1 aims to accelerate the deployment and adoption of inclusive, user-centric public digital services by strengthening governance frameworks, digitizing priority end‑to‑end services, advancing secure data management, promoting government migration to cloud infrastructure, and improving citizen and business uptake and satisfaction. This is expected to enhance transparency, reduce transaction costs, and improve service accessibility, including for women and underserved populations. Results Area 2 focuses on boosting private sector digitization, competitiveness, and job creation by strengthening the startup and innovation ecosystem, improving access to finance and venture support, enhancing the competitiveness of the offshoring sector, scaling MSME digital transformation, and expanding the supply of market‑relevant digital skills. Together, these results areas aim to drive productivity, innovation, and inclusive economic growth, while fostering quality employment and increasing the contribution of the digital economy to Morocco’s development.
