Distributed Systems

Distributed systems have become a central part of big data. The systems are part of two subgroups: distributed databases such as Teradata or distributed file systems like Hadoop. Breakthroughs in technology have reduced costs in computing and increased capacity to process problems that were previously impossible to solve. There are many decisions to make before building a distributed computing system.
