Overview & Synopsis
Examined the reports of 100 accreditation evaluation teams of the North Central Association concerning general education standards. Findings indicated a high level of consistency in team judgments and identified specific institutional program strengths and weakness, such as mission statements, statements of philosophy concerning general education, faculty/administration, faculty qualifications, and general education program design.
