The Future Role of Experiential Education in Higher Education.
Overview & Synopsis
Postsecondary education has failed to help students develop a broad base of knowledge that is relevant. Experiential education can help transform postsecondary education. A stronger commitment to research and scholarship is needed, the theory of experiential education must be taught along with the skills, and college experiential educators must create bridges of common interest with other disciplines.
