Describes an inservice education program for teachers of agricultural mechanics, undertaken by the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education at Mississippi State University, to improve teacher understanding of the need for safety in agricultural mechanics laboratories; to identify safety hazards in laboratories and their remedies; and to organize and implement safety programs in agricultural mechanics laboratories and in agribusiness.
