Overview & Synopsis

The report contains national summary data compiled from fiscal year 1974 annual reports submitted by all States in the administration of vocational education. The data presented include statistics relating to expenditures, enrollments, program completions, teachers, and teacher training. Contents of the report consist of tables showing: (1) total enrollment in vocational education by program, level, and target group; (2) number of teachers and local administrative personnel in vocational education programs; (3) enrollees and completions of vocational education teacher training programs; (4) vocational education expenditures, source of funds, and allotments; (5) State and local expenditures; (6) total vocational education expenditures by selected purpose, level, and target group under all programs; (7) enrollment and completions by instructional program; and (8) followup of program completions in preparatory vocational education programs.
