Climate Action and Social Sustainability in FCV Contexts : A Position Paper
Overview & Synopsis
This position paper outlines a proposal for a flagship World Bank study on Climate Action and Social Sustainability in FCV Contexts. Approaches that are socially sustainable can allow for the scaling of climate financing to FCV-affected areas and the development and implementation of more effective mitigation and adaption work. Climate actions that promote social sustainability can also help address the challenges that keep places locked in cycles of conflict and fragility.
