Overview & Synopsis
Aspects of cooperative education are presented. Two types of cooperative education, the alternate plan and the parallel plan, are described. The benefits of cooperative education are discussed as well as ways to implement cooperative education. Cooperative education is suggested as an alternate to traditional forms of baccalaureate nursing education. (CT)
