Somalia Multi-Partner Fund Progress Report : July 2025 to June 2026
Overview & Synopsis
The Somalia Multi-Partner Fund (MPF) continued to play a critical role in supporting Somalia’s development transition during the reporting period, Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), covering the period from July 2025 to June 2026. As Somalia advances its post-HIPC reform agenda and implements the Country Partnership Framework (CPF) 2024–2028, the MPF has evolved from the World Bank Group’s principal financing platform into a strategic instrument that complements IDA financing through catalytic grant resources, analytical work, policy dialogue, and enhanced risk management. Throughout FY26, the Fund remained central to efforts to strengthen governance, promote private sector-led growth, build human capital, and enhance resilience in Somalia’s fragile and conflict affected environment.
