Gifted: The Lost Minority.
Overview & Synopsis
Though public education is touted as education for all, academically gifted students do not always receive appropriate educational services in the public schools. These students need special attention to keep them from tuning out on their education and becoming underachievers. This paper discusses gifted students as teachers, what equal education is for gifted students, and who should teach gifted students. (SM)
