Afghanistan Economic Monitor
Overview & Synopsis
Afghanistan’s economy continues to expand modestly, supported by resilient domestic demand, stable prices, and stronger revenue mobilization. However, economic growth has not kept pace with rapid population growth, driven by the return of millions of Afghans, resulting in a 5.6% decline in per capita income and increasing pressure on household welfare.
