Overview & Synopsis
Results of a survey of curricular changes in schools which belong to the Council of Graduate Schools in the United States are reported. Trends visible in teacher education involve: (1) new programs that respond to contemporary pressures in society; (2) more interdisciplinary and cooperative programs; and (3) basic changes in the nature of teacher education.
