Overview & Synopsis
The first part of this document contains reports of committee activities and discussions in six areas: cultural cooperation, higher education and research, general and technical education, out-of-school education, cultural development, and educational documentation and research. The second part of the document includes the full texts of papers presented at an educational research symposium on the theme of the education of the 16-19 age group. Five papers cover the areas of sociological aspects, psychological aspects, problems concerning curricula and examinations, problems and research in technical and vocational education, and economic aspects; a final paper gives an overview of the symposium and summarizes the conclusions reached.
