The Development of European Networks Concerned with Continuing Higher Education.
Overview & Synopsis
Outlines characteristics of eight European higher education networks concerned with continuing education. Presents a case study of the European Universities Continuing Education Network and compares it to the older, established National University Continuing Education Association (NUCEA). Concludes that NUCEA provides a useful model, but European networks must consider transnational issues as well. (SK)
