Overview & Synopsis

This Standard Procurement Document (SPD) for Information Systems (IS) (Design, Supply and Installation) has been prepared for use in contracts financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). This SPD is to be used for the procurement of IS through international competitive procurement using a Request for Proposals (RFP) method, with or without prequalification, in projects that are financed, in whole or in part, by the World Bank through Investment Project Financing. This SPD has been updated to reflect the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July, 2016 as amended from time to time. This SPD requires application of rated criteria and their mandatory weightings for proposal evaluation.
