Madagascar - Economic Transformation for Inclusive Growth Project : Additional Financing
Overview & Synopsis
The development objective of the Economic Transformation for Inclusive Growth Project for Madagascar is to increase the growth of small and medium enterprises in target regions in Madagascar. The additional financing (AF) activities will comprise of either activities for which the recruitment or call for applications have already been launched or a natural continuation of activities that were originally planned in the Project Appraisal Document (PAD) and that fall under the component descriptions. The AF activities are expected to support the creation of an additional 10,000 new jobs in the Economic Transformation for Inclusive Growth Project (PIC3) regions and target sectors, increase the revenues of supported small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by 20 percent, mobilize an additional US 4 million dollars of private capital and enable more than US 20 million dollars of private capital.
