Mozambique - District and Community Health Services Revitalization Operation : Additional Financing
Overview & Synopsis
The development objective of the District and Community Health Services Revitalization Operation for Mozambique is to improve the utilization and quality of health care and nutrition services at district and community level with a focus on vulnerable populations. The additional financing (AF) will increase activities within the original Program boundaries, but the geographic scope, design of the operation, and targeted districts will remain unchanged from the parent operation. The AF will introduce the following key changes: (a) scaling up all the disbursement-linked indicators (DLIs), with a focus on DLIs 1, 3, 6, and 7, thereby increasing funding to the PforR from US 80 million dollars equivalent to US 130 million dollars equivalent; and (b) expanding activities under the investment project financing (IPF) component, from US 35 million dollars equivalent to US 48.7 million dollars equivalent. The restructuring of the parent operation consists of changes to the results framework and modifications to the IPF component.
