Assessing Special Education Needs.
Overview & Synopsis
New special education legislation in Canada views the need for provisions as a relative and interactive concept between the child's problem and the resources available to progress. Local Education Authorities are required to produce a multiprofessional statement to ensure educational and financial accountability. The child's progress is to be reviewed annually. (Author/CL)
