Technology Education in the American Elementary School.
Overview & Synopsis
Elementary school technology education does seem to enhance career education, but there is no conclusive evidence that it increases performance in other subjects. Successful implementation must be based on the need for technological literacy for all (content) rather than technology education's effect on other subject learning (process). (SK)
