Selected Energy Education Activities for Pennsylvania Middle School Grades. Draft.
Overview & Synopsis
These activities are intended to help increase awareness and understanding of the energy situation and to encourage students to become energy conservationists. The document is divided into sections according to discipline area. A final section is devoted to interdisciplinary activities involving several discipline areas integrated with the energy lesson. Each activity description contains: (1) discussion of grade level; (2) energy learning objective; (3) discipline area learning objective; (4) materials; (5) background information; (6) activity description; and (7) contact organizations for further assistance and information.
