Overview & Synopsis
This issue, number 42 in the series, is divided into the sections of: (1) British science activities, and (2) overseas and international science activities. Presented in a newsletter format, numerous topics of interest to secondary school science and mathematics educators pertaining to British education are presented. Reports on the engineering profession, school-industry links, technical education, gifted curriculum, zoo education, and various science and mathematics projects under development are presented. The overseas and international section is devoted to news items from the countries of Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Canada, Malaysia, Wales, and Fiji. Several Unesco projects, international conferences, and international organizations are also discussed. (CS)
