This study investigated the changes in sixth graders' knowledge and attitudes about the environment, as measured by the Environmental Knowledge and Opinion Survey (EKOS) and changes in their teacher's knowledge, understanding, and teaching behavior brought about through participation in an Environmental Education Center sponsored teach in-service program.
