New Social Movements and Their Implications for Adult Education.
Overview & Synopsis
The crisis of modernity is leading to a cultural transformation that will make traditional forms of education obsolete. In this movement, social change occurs through the transformation of individuals. Unlike old movements in which the chief weapon was politics, adult education is at the center of the new movement's concept of adult transformation. (SK)
