Toward a Learning Society: Alternative Channels to Life, Work, and Service.
Overview & Synopsis
This report is concerned with the place of "nontraditional" students within higher education and the enhanced role of "further education." The Commission favors opening up more options for students outside colleges and universities, more opportunities for returnees to higher education and for all adults who wish to participate in postsecondary education.
