Multicultural Education for Pre-Service Teachers.
Overview & Synopsis
The University of Washington College of Education requires its students to take two courses on socioethnicity. But many future teachers elect courses focused on their own particular social or ethnic group. Thus, like other teacher colleges, Washington must find new methods of preparing students to teach in our culturally diverse society. (KH)
