Overview & Synopsis
Challenge to teacher education of assessment in special education are noted in terms of P.L. 94-142 (The Education for All Handicapped Children Act) requirements and current practices. Critical issues in teacher education focus on reasons, methods, and content of assessment training. Seventeen recommendations for practice are listed. (CL)
