Education for Disadvantage
Overview & Synopsis
The keynote address at the 1976 Farnham (England) Conference on the European Bureau of Adult Education examines educational needs of the "forgotten people": those who need basic education; those living in areas of multiple deprivation, especially in cities; workers, especially in factories; and immigrants or migrant workers. Some current trends in educational attitudes and provision are discussed. (MF)
