Overview & Synopsis
This is the final report of a Unesco meeting held in New Delhi, India in April, 1976. Contents include background information, summaries of the inaugural meeting and the organization of the work at the conference, a summary of the discussions in the commissions, closure, recommendations, and annexes. Topics discussed at this meeting were: (1) predicted manpower needs, women in engineering; (2) curriculum design and development; (3) environmental engineers and technicians; (4) continuing education; (5) education-industry interaction in technological education; (6) institution-building interaction in technological education; and (7) cooperation at the international, regional, and country levels.
