Overview & Synopsis
An elementary school physical education program is described involving (1) grade-specific health education emphasizing nutrition, heart and lung anatomy and physiology, and disease prevention; (2) an innovative physical education program for children, teachers, and parents; (3) development of a low-cholesterol, low-sugar lunch program; and (4) health education sessions for parents.
