Overview & Synopsis
Assessed the efficacy of cognitive and demographic variables for predicting academic achievement in regional colleges and universities. Identified six areas as outcomes of general education: communication, problem solving, clarification of values, functioning from within social institutions, using science and technology, and using project directors and faculty from pilot institutions using the arts.
