Overview & Synopsis
Influencing moral development should be an integral part of planned political education. The elements of Kohlberg's moral development theory and the relationships between moral judgments and political consciousness are discussed. General pedagogical-didactic principles through which a social studies course can be patterned on cognitive developmental theory are presented. (RM)
